Welcome to Signature School! PTSA extends a warm welcome to those of you who will be attending Signature, and we invite you to join us as new member of PTSA.

The mission of PTSA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and organizations that make decisions affecting children. The PTSA also encourages parental and public involvement in the public schools.

It is important to remind ourselves that each student's success starts with the support and encouragement of parents and family. For those of you who are just beginning this journey at Signature, you may not be certain how best to get involved or have not had the opportunity to meet other families as yet. The Signature PTSA helps bring parents, teachers, and students together with activities all can enjoy while we support the school.

A sampling of this years activites included a back to school picinc held at Burdette Park. Upcoming activities include our fall extravaganza: 3rd. ANNUAL MAIN ATTRACTION Friday Oct. 17th from 5-8pm. This will include student organizations raising funds with booth activities; a chance and silent auction and a cookout on Main St. Many volunteers will be needed for this. If you have a business and would like to donate an item(s) for the auction, please contact Lisa Rice - 575-9826.

Please join us by sharing your time and talents. We have many committees that are in need of volunteers. The ones left blank are in need of a chairperson to lead the group. Please call or e-mail me if you can help in any way.

Membership Invitation

Membership in the Signature PTSA is open to everyone! We encourage all students (the S in PTSA!), parents, staff, family, friends, and community to join with us as we work to fulfill the mission of PTSA.   Please join us in that effort.

PTSA Mission
  • to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;
  • to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and,
  • to encourage parent and community involvement in the public schools of this state and nation.

    Membership in Signature PTSA is $5.00/person. As an added incentive to join, each member receives a coupon card with discounts available at numerous area establishments.
