Prom Dresses 101

by: Kirsten Robards

Prom is right around the corner and girls who are attending are probably looking for a prom dress unless you already have one. Whether your willing to spend a lot of money or no money, here are some places and ideas on where and how to get your prom dress for '08.

Where to go: In order from least expensive to most expensive.

(812) 473-8284

Magic Moments
209 N. Wabash Ave.
Evansville, IN 47712
(812) 423-3252

David's Bridal
300 N. Green River Rd.
Evansville, IN 47715
(812) 473-3637

Bridal Warehouse
865 N. Green River Rd.
Evansville, IN 47715
(812) 471-9993

Or there is always JCPenney's, Dillard's, Macy's, Cache, and in Eastland Mall.

If you don't want to buy a dress you can always borrow a friend's who went to prom the previous year, or went to a different prom that always works. "It's a good idea because you don't have to pay for anything," said junior Lauren McMillen. "There is no need to spend a lot of money on a dress your going to wear once and only once," said senior Amanda Harris. If you don't want to spend much money at all, go to a second hand shop or Goodwill and fix your dress up and make it your own. The dress would be one of a kind!

Regardless of how or where you get your dress from or how much money you spend, just have a good prom this year.
