Youtube.com is easily one of the Internet’s most visited sites. It is the ultimate site to eliminate boredom, as long as you know what to look for. Many videos become so popular that they become “crazes”. But how can you tell if a video has become a craze? Usually the video will meet multiple, if not all, of the following criteria:
- It is looked up repeatedly (by the same person or others) multiple times so that all your friends can see it.
- It is watched so often, that people often quote lines.
- Others in the room, when the video is quoted, will join in.
- References to the video are made on the Internet outside of youtube.
 We set out to see why people watch the videos they do on youtube. The general consensus among students inside and outside of Signature School was that “stupid equals funny”. For example, videos that exhibit “Jackass syndrome” are some of the best.
