Already have plans for Spring Break

by: Jarred Morris

There are many activities around town for Spring Break, but there are also activities out of town that are relaxing. For example, going to Florida where there are theme parks and nice warm temperatures or even going on a road trip two hours away from home can be relaxing. Some students were interviewed to see where they were going and how they were going to spend their Spring Break.

The students interviewed have had plans made for months and are doing some interesting things. For example, senior Amy Marcrum is going to Fort Collins, Colorado to go on a college visit. She has had these plans since November. Senior Lauren Brown is going to Tucson, Arizona to visit cousins. She has had these plans since October. Junior John Hayden, who works at Turoni's, is saving money to go to a convention in April.

These activities are great ways to get away for a week. The temperature also plays a role in activities chosen. For example, if the temperature is cold over Spring Break you may not want to go to the park, but if the temperature is nice you may get out more. Florida's temperatures are usually very nice during Spring Break, which is why it is a very great vacationing spot according to http://www.studentspringbreak.com.

Spring Break is a week long and there is not much time to go on a big vacation. There is enough time if you want to get away from home for a few days and maybe go to Louisville Kentucky. Spring Break is March 21st-March 28th.
