Superhero Movie (not yet rated)

            The people behind the Scary Movie series are now focusing their attention to making a spoof of superhero movies. The movie is about a nerdy high school student that gets bitten by a dragonfly, who then acquires certain abilities such as incredible strength and armored skin, he becomes known as “The Dragonfly,” who is incredibly uncomfortable in tights.  The villain that “The Dragonfly” goes against is “The Hourglass” who can steal a person’s soul.

Leatherheads (rated PG-13)

            Leatherheads is a romantic comedy centered around football in 1925. Dodge Connolly is determined to lead his team to a stadium packing game.  Another character Carter Rutherford is introduced to the story, who Dodge thinks that he will be the “saving grace” for the team.  Later in the the two characters turn into rivals over a girl.

Run, Fatboy, Run (rated PG-13)

            Dennis, after leaving his fiancée at the altar pregnant, he realized he made a mistake and must get her back, but Whit, Hank Azaria, is also falling in love with her.  To prove that Dennis could take care of her, he runs a marathon.  There is sabotage among the race between Azaria and Dennis, and Dennis breaks his ankle, can Dennis make a come back?

Street Kings (rated R)

            Tom Ludlow is an ex-LAPD cop who is grieving the death of his wife. When Tom returns to work, he finds out that the evidence indicates that he himself is responsible for the execution of a fellow officer.  Tom is forced to go up against usual cop protocol to find out who really did kill his partner.

21 comes out March 28th (rated PG-13)

21 is based on the book Bringing Down the House, which is about a
group of M.I.T. students that use their quick minds to count cards. Ben
Campell, played by Jim Sturgess (Across the Universe), joins the group
to raise money for school tuition, and the students travel to Las Vegas
every weekend to play blackjack. The students are led by their unique
math professor played by Kevin Spacey, and all goes well until Ben gets
in too far in Vegas.

Prom Night comes out April 11th (rated PG-13)

Prom Night is a remake of the 1980 movie starring Jamie Lee Curtis. In
the 2008 version, Donna is played by Brittany Snow. Donna and her
friends rent a hotel and plan an amazing evening to celebrate their
senior year. However, instead they spend the night trying to survive
while being pursued by a serial killer.

Smart People comes out April 11th (rated R)
Smart People is an upcoming movie with a lot of big stars. Dennis Quaid
plays testy professor Lawrence Wetherhold, who falls for one of his
previous students, played by Sarah Jessica Parker. Ellen Page, the star
of Juno, plays his daughter. The combination of great talent and biting
humor should make a good movie, although it is rated R for some adult
content.

Life Before Her Eyes comes out April 18th (rated R)

Life Before Her Eyes is a new drama starring Uma Thurman as Diana, a
happy middle-aged woman. She is haunted by flashbacks as the
anniversary of her high school shooting approaches. In the flashbacks,
Evan Rachel Wood (Across the Universe) plays the young Diana, and as
she looks back, she slowly starts to discover what actually happened 15
years ago.
