Iran-U.S. Relations

by: Amanda Brandon

Poverty, inflation, decreased freedom, and political, economic, and international hardships spread throughout Tehran, Iran. Tehran is not only the capital of Iran; it is also its largest city. The combination of America's animosity towards Iran and the countries economic instability causes Iran to close all doors promoting American influence. The nuclear issue and abundance of oil and other beneficial recourses has also impacted the isolation of Iran from the other countries. Iran is rich in oil and nuclear devises which makes it a useful tool in combating terrorism. If Iran is accepted in universal affairs, and is willing to participate in conflicts, it could be extremely helpful in coping with the terrorism battle that faces the world today.
